The Syvecs Fluid Temperature Sensor is a high-accuracy NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) thermistor designed to monitor critical engine fluids, including coolant, oil, and fuel. Unlike open-element air sensors, this unit features a sealed brass bulb that protects the sensing element from high-pressure liquids and corrosive additives.

Accurate fluid temperature data is vital for engine management. It allows the Syvecs ECU to manage cold-start enrichment (Warm Up Prime), trigger cooling fan strategies, and execute safety derates if oil or coolant temperatures exceed safe operating limits.

• Durable Electrical Connection: Utilizes a 2-pin connector for a secure, vibration-resistant link to the wiring loom.

Calibration and Wiring Data

As an NTC sensor, the resistance decreases as the temperature rises. This sensor is compatible with the "Standard NTC" or "Bosch 2.5k" curves found in the Syvecs SCal database.

Resistance Values: 0C = 5896 Ohms
20C = 2500 Ohms
40C = 1175 Ohms
80C = 323 Ohms
100C = 187 Ohms
