The Ecumaster EGT to CAN Module is a critical expansion peripheral for high-performance engine management, providing high-speed monitoring for up to 8 individual Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) sensors. Designed to interface seamlessly with the Ecumaster EMU Black and EMU Classic, this module converts the low-voltage signals from K-Type thermocouples into a digital data stream transmitted via the CAN BUS, allowing for real-time per-cylinder fuel trimming and engine protection.
By monitoring the thermal profile of each cylinder, tuners can identify air-fuel distribution imbalances and protect against catastrophic engine failure caused by lean conditions or ignition timing issues. Housed in a compact, lightweight enclosure, it features Cold Junction Compensation and a broad measurement range, making it the industry standard for both forced induction and high-compression naturally aspirated motorsport builds.
