Renamed the K20R, this variant is our most developed 2.0L race engine. It is the definitive choice for track day enthusiasts and professional racers looking to upgrade their current K20 into a competitive machine. Specifically engineered for the rigours of endurance and sprint championships, the K20R delivers up to 300 BHP NA with a focus on high-RPM reliability and linear power delivery.

The Bourne HPP Standard

Every K20R build undergoes a rigorous preparation process, every component and every bolt is either brand new or completely refurbished to ensure the highest levels of mechanical integrity and aesthetic finish:

• Complete Strip & Inspection: Every component is measured and checked against factory tolerances.

• Vapour Blasted Castings: All exterior castings are restored to a factory finish.

• Precision Machining:

  • Dynamic Crankshaft Balancing for high-RPM stability.

  • Cylinder Bores Honed to exact tolerances for optimal compression.

  • Block and Head Faces Skimmed to ensure a perfect head gasket seal.

  • Full Casting Deburring to optimise oil return and remove stress points.

• Cylinder Head Refurbishment: New Beryllium Copper valve guides and seats cut and lapped.

• Aesthetics: Finished with the signature Bourne HPP Oil Filler Cap and Bourne HPP Blue Cam Cover
