Ecumaster EMU Black – Mini Cooper R50 / R53 Plug & Play ECU
The Ecumaster EMU Black for Mini R50 / R53 is the premier standalone engine management solution for the first-generation BMW Mini Cooper and Cooper S. This Plug & Play (PnP) system is housed in a bespoke CNC-machined aluminium enclosure designed to fit perfectly into the factory ECU location. Unlike traditional interconnectors, this is a direct-fit unit that interfaces with the OEM wiring harness, providing a massive upgrade in processing power and tuning flexibility while maintaining a clean, factory appearance.
Specifically engineered for the R53 (Supercharged) and R50 (Naturally Aspirated), the EMU Black comes pre-loaded with a startup base map. It offers full control over the Drive-By-Wire (DBW) throttle system and integrates seamlessly with the Mini CAN-Bus to retain factory dashboard functionality, including the tachometer, coolant temp, and warning lights.
